God's timeline

Today I read Mark 13:1-13. All men will hate you because of me but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.
I thought about the. Israelites and how they lamented that Moses was delayed in returning to them from the mountain but God thought it was quick. Oh how our timeline and idea of time to God is so different. I am encouraged to stand firm to the end knowing that however long it may seem to me, it's probably a drop in the bucket for God.  It is also good to know that He provides that comfort for us when we are waiting so that we are not tempted.
